Then why did the manhunters bring him back to life and why did they say there were no life-signs, zap him and then state that life-signs were present?
They didn't bring him back to life. Manhunters aren't capable of such feats. They checked for life signs and checked again.
Sodam Yat was dead after the AM attacked, then he got right back up.

So what the **** do you think Henshaw was refering to when he said "He almost did it?"If Supermans punches can kill him whats a galaxy destroying blast gonna do?
"He almost did it." Who knows? It's an ambiguous statement.
Who gets up from near death and owns multiple green lanterns, and laughs off a bloodlusted skyfather level blast? Plus when he went in the galaxy blast, he went in there WILLING to die... no defenses up, rings, durability..etc.
Damn dude. Use some common sense.
