1. Thompson Machine gun in all ww2, specifically CoD series
2. Deus Ex
3. No One Lives Forever
4. Black Mesa - Half Life, with Surface Tension being my favourite gaming moment I ever played
5. Half Life, can never play an shooter without having CTRL as crouch.
6. Orange Box
7. Crysis
8. Half Life
9. Scripted Events....aka Half Life
10. Half Life again.

Man, I must get a hard on for Half Life, but its too damn good. The only game I've played atleast 5 times and not get bored yet, and the first game I ever played straight until the end.

Is Surface Tension the part where you shoot the helicopter down and then you have to go into the water and kill a weird creature?

That's the one.

Right on the cliff side and you have scale down it, and up it to a pipe that leads to a Y shaped waterway with commando's on the top.

It's also one with the snipers.

It's easily one of my favourite levels/chapters.

Most Innovative Feature: Portal gun in portal
Most Involving: Portal, Bioshock, Perfect dark

Best Weapons cerebral bore from turok 2
Best Story: perfect dark
Best Characters: elvis from perfect dark
Best Levels/Setting/Scenery: CoD4
Best Controls: ????
Best Graphics: doom 3
Best Replayability: Golden eye
Most Rewarding (In Any Sense): CoD4 online play
Most Innovative Feature: farsight xr-20 gun from perfect dark
Most Involving: Half life

Best Weapons (Which Weapons?): Alien Headbite - AvP2
Best Story: Half Life 2
Best Characters: AvP2
Best Levels/Setting/Scenery: COD4
Best Controls: AvP2
Best Graphics: COD4, Doom 3, Bioshock
Best Replayability: Halo series
Most Rewarding (In Any Sense): Pinning things to the wall with the HL2 crossbow across map.
Most Innovative Feature: Pretty much anything for either race in AvP series
Most Involving: Half-Life series - didn't stop playing them except for a break or two until I finished them.

Atleast I'm not the only one with hardon for Half Life series.

I don't play very many FPS's... If this was just shooters in general, Gears of War a and a couple other games would be in there, but as far as pure FPS's go my choices are very limited.

I do, the sheer range of options as to how to go about any given scenario makes for near endless replayability.

I recently brought the orange box, and i absolutely love half life 2, i only ever had a demo of half-life but i enjoyed that as well.
