well, when i lived in Germany. We rarely shopped in bulk. Fresh meats and vegetables were acquired almost daily. Essentially, we bought fresh ingredients for what we wanted to eat before making it. This is how many people live in Germany. It is such a nice way to live. Presently, i have more processed foods in my house than i would like. So, if i needed to. I could probably stretch my rations out for a month or so.
I assume you are referring to some nutty alarmist crap though. do you know something we dont? Are the reptilians going to surface soon ? Shit i hope not...please tell me if they are. Give me a head start

Empirical data to back your paranoid assertions, with a theory that precludes other possible interpretations of the data? No? I thought not.
Plant a garden. Problem solved. Now quit making spam threads.

Why should week to week trips imply destitution, or day to day? I go to the market every day and I'm doing okay. I've noticed a considerable increase in prices, but not in my ability to reach the market. Anyon else noticed the price of seafood cracking the ceiling tiles?
As for when public transport goes away based on oil prices, I'll just walk. Besides, there's no national infrastructure for mass/public transport BECAUSE the oil industry shut it down. I've walked for cigarettes, booze and weed, why wouldn't I walk for food?
So, when the catastrophe comes, it will be because the oil industry blocked the development of most forms of public transport in subruban areas and because we are still depending on them to ship our needed goods. Next time you people elect an oil man and his cronies, don't be suprised you're being screwed on gas prices. [general dis]****ing idiots![/general dis]

You got scurd because of the earthquake in China and the raping cyclone from Myanmar.
