she reformed primarily because of scott. she's good for him, because she doesn't hold him up to the standards scott thought jean did. she accepts him as the man he is. nothing more, nothing less. he's never been that happy with anyone. not jean, not maddie. not anyone.

he does the exact same thing for her.
