I dont think that hulk even needs the power gem to get a majority in this fight but its a good fight though.

I agree, kind of, hp doomsday didnt have to many showings to make me think that he would just run over hulk. Doomsday showings after his one good showing made him look kind of weak and there havent been any depictions of a power down grade by doomsday.

I still think that wwh would get a majority over doomsday.

spite? hardly. and if anything, doomsday is a rip-off of the general (aka. shaggy man).

also, isn't doomsday considerably faster and more versatile than wwhulk?

it's not like i picked some chump to go to blows with hulk.

doomsday has single handedly owned the jla.

he's fought tirelessly for a hundred years against an army made by Gog.

he killed superman.

moreover, i've never felt that hulk (even wwh) was/is as strong as most incarnations of superman. not saying that hulk isn't a force to be reckoned with but, superman is just flat out stronger. and i believe doomsday to be superior to most versions of superman. again, he did kill him.

and seeing as how doomsday can adapt (and counter abilities) and is near invincible, i don't think wwh with the power gem is too much. i think it's daunting but then again, so is doomsday.

at least debate instead of just stating who wins without any reasons as to why.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. I love being a t... I mean, the jla sucks as a team. I think their only purpose is to get taken singled handedly by villains and rogue members of their own team.
