Do you still use VHS?

I still use VHS but only watch a handful of movies on it.

no. i haven't for years but that last vhs movie i saw was "evil dead 3".

shaa

Still use it to watch my old wrestling VHS collection, and buy the odd vhs movie for a buck at the town book club once a year.

Also used it to record Galacta's and Avatar's finale.

avatar? what with like a vhs camcorder?

I have to get rid of all that the Vhs that I have. There is too many of them. The interesting part is that some of the ones I have are not even on DVD yet.

You should try to sell the ones that are not avaliable on dvd yet before they are released on dvd. If you don't want them anymore that is.

I gave away my vhs tapes about 4 years ago.

Thankfully, when i started collecting dvds i realized dvds was going to be the future so got used to them pretty quickly.

I bought a VCR just before they were due to cease production.

It is a 6 Head Stereo with Front and back AV's in and out's

i brought my VHS copy of "Crash and Burn" fan expo this year, had bill moseley and charles band sign it.

both of them looked shocked to see a vhs.

my sister wants to trade me her dvd copy for my vhs copy.
pfft, i love my family, but i love vhs-tapes more.

I still watch my classics on VHS, like my DIC cartoons, Bravestarr, Cops, Legend of Zelda, Super Mario Bros. Super Show...Sonic, etc...

I kept my VCR incase someone needed me to transfer VHS to dvd. ive made afew bucks already. mine has an S video output as well.

I have a small stack of VHSs left, but I don't know why. We have a little TV/VHS combo in our bedroom, but we still have a $30 DVD player hooked up to it we use way more... I just can't let go entirely.

I don't have a VCR anymore because my old one broke down but I want to get one just to transfer my VHS tapes to DVD.

Yeah, I bought the software neccessary to transfer my VHS to my computer, then burn them to DVD. Then I'll be free of the little buggers.

I have one also... A LINEAR MONO player and I love it...

VHS is goregous...

Picked up a sweet 4-head stereo Sony VCR for $20 bucks so I could watch old tv I had taped back in the day. I was really good about pausing for commercial breaks so these rawk!

I would still use VHS 5 or 6 years ago on occasion if needed, but now I don't even own a VCR. So no, I don't. And VHS tapes I still might own are probably buried away at my parents' house somewhere.

Not any more, I have a player but I haven’t used it for years.

Haven't used a VHS is a very long time or owned a player, probably close to 12-13 years now. I kept one VHS tape, Disney's The Little Mermaid, because it has the very limited cover with the dildo hidden in the artwork by the disgruntled artist. Might be worth some $$$ some day.

I still have around 1,500 DVDs (in folder sleeves) in storage, but haven't really watched a DVD in years though, went fully electronic with my film library a few years back and never looked back. I still have a DVD player in storage as well.

Do wonder if VHS will have a renaissance so to speak like vinyl did in the music world. Not sure though, as vinyl has something uniquely positive to it even when compared to modern audio, while VHS really doesn't when compared to modern video. eg hook up a quality record player to high end audio equipment and the sound can be amazing. Hook up a quality VHS to top of the line 4K television set, and it's still that grainy VHS look I imagine.
