IF I remember correctly, Sithsaber and his ilk disagree and their forces will definitely vote the shame and horror of equal-rights (aka gay marriages) away. Hallelujah, brother.

Well, I doubt that they're polling the church crowd.
It's kind of sad how proud you are about it. What you aren't balatantly saying is that you're a member of a group that is so willfully ignorant that they live in a republic, where the consent of the majority is not needed for equality to be the mandate of the masses, that you don't realize this is not a faith-based democracy. I have always said that gay rights, not "special rights", are not a matter or descision left up to the peers of gay citizens; not in a republic.
Actually, what disappoints me the most about your pride is how much more speacial you think you are because of your religious choices. You don't even realize how contrary to the reality of this country's founding your assumption runs. You brunch-resenting church folk think that your say matters so much more than anyone else's. But why don't you puke out your belief that this country was founded with the idea that this country was founded by and for, only, members of the christian persuasion. You know, the most arrogance doesn't even apply to people like you. It is applied more to the people who feel like they have the right to give you the right to decide.
Or!, maybe you aren't the "moral" (read: arrogantly assumptive) majority you profess yourself to be?

Well, I doubt that they're polling the church crowd. I'll say that much. Also that there is a grassroots organization of pastors mobilizing congregants to go door-to-door in every city in CA, that meets bi-monthly and coordinates efforts through email.
But you won't see that on the news. 😉
It's definitely they're right to do so, I guess. But don't you think all that time and man-hours could be spent on something more important?
Surely there's something out there that needs fixing/attention more than stopping gay people from marrying each other, no? <--- I'd appreciate it if you answered this.
Edit: I have another question, how would it make you feel if a law/bill came up that stated Christians can only marry other Christians of the same exact denomination, i.e. Lutherans can only marry Lutherans, Baptist can only marry Baptist etc., would you think that law/bill was just, simply because people could vote on it?

I agree.
If the gay people who are getting married are not part of sithsaber408's religion, then I fail to see how that would have any negative effect on marriage within his religion.
A question for sithsaber408
Does the fact that other religions allow things like polygamy degrade or negatively effect marriage as seen by your religion?

Hahahaa, the typical idiot talking points.
A) The Bible says no!
B) If a man is allowed to marry a man, then what's to stop a man marry an infant, his dog or a bag of rock!?
I especially loved the black preacher claiming people will label you a homophobe. I'd imagine what he'd say if someone told him and his congregation that they were against blacks marrying whites (as it was at one time).
