i was made to believe that new universal had stalled until shockfront just came out. i'd been reading the relaunch, and did just pick up shockfront, and i like 'em. kind of nothing happening, except for the starbrand-centric issues. justice hasn't done much since he first showed up.

haven't read any doktor sleepless.

black summer i missed issue 2, but i have 1, 3 and 4. i quite like it, but i dont feel like enough story's been put out [unless 2 was super plot-centric] for the amount of things we've seen. it's like

Spoiler:
"frank blacksmith's not dead, tom's still functional, john killed everybody, now everybody else is crazy, apparently we fight a helicopter, now the government's trying to kill us and they kill tom but we kill the army and shit."
i don't know. doesn't seem to have enough plot, it's just sequence after sequence with some pithy, angry dialogue.
