It's apparently a sequel that wasn't needed, but it has some inventive kills in it if that's all you watch it for.

I'll be seeing it soon, someone got a copy that I'm borrowing.

Diary of the dead is not a sequel. Gorge A. Romero don't make sequels.
Its just a new and great zombie movie.
It's kinda like cloverfield with zombies and it is awesome.

Oh whoops. I thought this was about the Day of the Dead remake. Ignore my previous post. Diary of the Dead was pretty decent.
