Al-Qaida close to defeat in Iraq

I am not an authority on what's going on in Iraq, But I wouldn't say we are "kicking their asses."

I wonder if there is a chance of these cells being activated, like if a particular incident happens, they are to take action.

My point was, let's say we're kicking their asses and winning overall, which would be hard to calculate, since objectives change constantly. How is America (and the world) better off, what are the fruits of our labors? Do you see any?

I doubt it, the Bush admins "Yellow Alert/Red Alert" gimmick has lost effectiveness, people aren't really buying into it anymore.

By that logic, NEVER EVER complain again in your life, about anything. As there is someone off far worse than you.

did you notice this 😛 ?

I'm fully aware of the fact that there are people far worse of then me, I hear about it daily in the media, read about it in the papers, discuss it at work and here at home.

Notice what?

IMO we'd have been better off not being over there in the first place. I hate to say it, but it's true. 9/11 forced our hand, but we should have seen that coming.

And as far as future attacks from terrorists, we can take all the precautions we want, but if they want to hit us, we are at their mercy.

Forced us to do something, yes. But there were a lot of other things that could have been done besides invading Iraq, as to date, zero WMDs have been found. I know, I know, they just haven't found them yet.

According to Bush Co., several have been stopped, thanks to this administrations ever vigilant watch.

I have heard stopping terror attacks compared to placing your finger in the crack of a leaky Dam. Sure, the leak has stopped, but another will spring forth eventually.

Then we're obviously doomed if Obama or Clinton take it in '08. Their fingers are small, fragile and reluctant to get dirty, compared to Bush's or another Republican/savior.

What a shame. We can't have that. People wouldn't have anything to complain about.

Don't worry... the Republicans will steal the election like normal.

Unless I'm reading this incorrectly, are you saying 9/11 forced our hand into moving into Iraq?

Snicker, snicker

Well, Hilary has done will to dispel that belief...possibly because she has to try harder being a women and all. Remember, "We would obliterate them."?

I think you were, since you said don't worry; it's still humorous.

You are confusing sarcasm with humor.
