About the same, I hated the weekend ones - they were a bastard. I ended up employing some other kid to deliver my papers every weekend.
I had an afternoon route, but on weekends I had to deliver them at about 7 in the morning. After that, two other paperboys in the neighborhood and I would go ride our bikes to the donut shop. After that I'd go home and watch Saturday morning cartoons. And then after that I'd take a long nap in the afternoon. Then I'd wake up with serious heartburn from the donuts.

Nice. I'd get back from mine just in time for school, it was like traipsing through a field of shit, only to find a valley of shit at the end of it.

Mine was only about 40, but I was enough of a dumb sh*t to take a route almost a mile away. With no ride most days, 40 papers seems a helluva lot more when you lug them a mile 4-5 times a week.
Nice walks back, but getting their was occasionally brutal.

There used to be a van round where I live that sold meat, the bastard played the ice cream tune when he did his rounds. I think that's the most cruel thing I've ever witnessed. It made me give up on humanity, at the age of ten.
