Well apparently the clip out on the we is a viral ad.
How much he will be in the movie itself remains to be seen.
I heard he is gonna be at the beginning as a setter outter of exposition maybe.

We'll see... the viral is nice.

And maybe we get to see the merger between Wayland and Yutani in a sequel.

And what is the narrative relevance of that merger?

Maybe we see that Weyland was benevolent all along..
And Yutani was a corrupting influence...or vice versa...

Or maybe the company on the whole, despite the odd dodgy agenda is revealed to be somehow good..
