Pre-Retconned Brother is the pages and company in which The other two are drawn on and published. The Pre-Retcons represent the actual companies themselves. yaweh/presence is the writer I suppose. And the GEB is a character that stalemates Yaweh.
DC's Brother hasn't been Retconned tho. Only Marvel's.

Well, Mr. Mxy once had to be stopped by the power of the Presence, ( don't quote me because I'm not sure on the comic) and the only other time we see him being barred from doing something is by Mike Carlin. So I figured The presence and the writer would be one and the same. And Marvel Can't retcon DC's blue brother unless you acknowlege the fact that the LT indeed had to confer with the Spectre before he acted. Also in the story, The Spectre and the LT were specs to the brothers. The Brothers were the companies avatars. Not writer avatars, but the companies embodied.

In your mind. The Truth is the Brothers are the companies. Not the writers. Or Characters persay. But the actual embodiments of each. HENCE marvel VS. DC. They didn't ignore any cosmic hierachies. They make up and sustain such hierachies.
There are several Beings above the Spectre. This does not mean he's less powerful. Simple that they are more powerful. Kinda like you think the classic beyonder and the Classic molecule man are more powerful than the LT but less powerful than the kirby avatar.
