That said, the Dark Side campaign is starting to change now. We've had several storylines of you Dark Siding in a leadership void (offically from the moment where we found that it was not practical for Rand to lead the group, but literally the situation was already true from the moment Kuylen was no longer there), which is what has led to the current situation.
Eventually- unless a leader emerges- that situation will destroy you, The split between the two groups will become wider, and eventually something will spark the gap between tension and confrontation, and one group will destroy the other, after which there would never be group unity again. And just as the Sith tended to do, you will have destroyed yourselves. Heck, even the Jedi need a command structure to function.
But a few stories of that is enough. It might be independantly amusing to have a game about how you hacked each other to death but it's not worth it as an RP, especiallty when there are grander things to get involved with.
Starting from the next story you will have options to pursue as to what your group is actually going to be about- and if it will take on a leader.
Which is timely, because next story is also where, if you are sensible, you can start to build your powerbase.

But what if we disagree? Will the group split?
Depends how you define 'split'.
Because there is certainly room for disagreement. But there's also praticality to consider. Survival is your priority; conflict may have to wait for the right time.
Which in an unhelpful way answers you too, Newjak.

A character as leader was a theoretical possiblity for the Campaign but appears to have been ruled out. I cannot see one being accepted now.
No, not likely. At least, Rianna wouldn't really be willing to accept anyone as a leader at this point. Rand ruined that.
And powerbases are good...
Galder would be willing to contemplate a leader so long as the leader is able to lead. He never gave Rand an honest chance (because frankly Galder isn't very honest), but if Rand could solidify himself as leader and be reasonable (and not keep Galder simply as his weapon)... Galder would consider.
He doesn't have to pull off Kuylen or anything, of course.

Oh lord it's long, but whenever the leadership thing comes up I point at that. It was basically Rand's last act in his short term as Dark Side leader.
Basically we had infiltrated this nasty criminal organization to steal a Sith tablet (turned out the entire thing was a setup), and Rianna being the sneakiest, she was the one who was going to actually steal the thing. The floor it was on was three floors from where our ship was. The rest of the group was supposed to make sure she'd have a clear path down.
Well when it came time to do the swipe and then the inevitable fight that ensued, Rand sort of completely forgot about that part of the plan and Rianna had to fight through two floors alone before catching up to the remainder of the group...

Also. I still want to find out about this damn Desert of Stones.

Forgot as in "Oops, I am a Dark Jedi and I tooootally forgot" or actually forgot about you. Either way, sounds funny...I take it that's why you don't accept him as leader anymore?

I'm not actually sure what happened with that, to be honest; I think it was at least partly because Tanic kinda snapped and killed someone.
Um, all of our characters were having hallucinations while we were there. It made things...interesting, to say the least.
He also kind of massively got his ass kicked as well, that didn't help the whole 'being in charge' thing.

I read he got his back snapped or something, did that happen there?
