^your sarcasm is far from humerous in these days. there was a time for ignorance, when there were excuses, not anymore. and who said the oil was going to the american PUBLIC????????? its going to the oil companies and the elite of america{among some others} who are affiliated in many ways to bush or his backing/funding. on the whole though, compare oil prices in america to oil prices in other places and the third world and youll see that you still get the better part of the bargain. world economics and trade isnt an a=b=c kind of thing, recognise that before using such simplistic logic.

I disagree with the position that "everyone" is cover by looking at Iraq, America, the USSR and Afganistan everyone. But I do agree that Rambo III is a good way of looking at the opinions of all people in the US as of 2008.
What should be considered is that the middle east is where the actual ground fight of the cold war took place. They're liitle more than pawns in the fight of east meets/v west. It's unfortunate that we all, both sides, have used them as guinea pigs for the political perspective most embraced at the moment.

Or maybe our oil prices are lower then European countries because a big part of the price of gasoline is the tax put on it..and socialist European countries are taxed to all hell to pay for all their social programs? Do work son.
