Unicron comes in two distinctive forms.
The first is the most well known. The original G1 Incarantion we all saw in the movie. This one is essentially just another Transformer, but on a MASSIVE scale. So a simplistic ray-gun to Unicron would be something able to vaporise continents in Bumblebees situation. It...could be possible to kill this one without the matrix, but it'd take a LONG time.
The second is the current Unicron. An entity described 'as the Dark God, the Chaos Bringer, the Planet Eater, and he is dedicated to consuming the multiverse. His goal is to bring an end to the annoying creation boasting independence around him, and find peace by becoming the living center of a swirling, infinite torrent of nothingness at the end of all things.
To undertake this seemingly overwhelming task, Unicron is able to travel across realities at will, a meandering plague upon existence itself. Integrated into his systems are incomprehensible quantum computers which calculate probabilities forward and backwards in time, in perpetuity, giving his processors an everchanging, evolving map of the multiverse.
The only thing that he fears is Primus's essence, contained inside the Matrix. '
This Unicron is practically Immortal and (upon defeat) simply shunts himself into another universe.
Given Unicron has one and only one vulnerability, which Galactus cannot use, how the hell is the UN going to do the job?
If Fox is right, and I know he's a major transformers fan among other things, so I think he's on the money, Galactus is screwed. This guy could take down Imperiex Prime.
Fox: By defeat, do you mean even the Matrix can't fully kill him? 🤨

Would the UN work against the LT?
That's what Primus essentially is and Unicron beat the **** out of him.
Would the UN work against a being so high up on the hierarchy that they could live outside of reality altogether because they consumed the very concepts on it?

Unicron and Primus seem more like gods of dimensions/realities/universes.
Galactus is essentially a universal gardener, pruning here and planting there, keeping things in balance and order ... he has the power to completely obliterate the 616 universe and recreate it on a whim (UN or consume the universe, whichever), so obviously he too can exist outside reality.
I think Galactus should win here too.

Except Unicron has done it while for Galactus that is still something that he has not accomplished. Nor can he exist outside of time like Unicron does. He came from another universe born into the 616 (with help) and at best, he will be the next universes eternity.
Can the UN void LT or Eternity? The Beyonder? LT like Primus only answers to TOAA.
Unicron can do everything the Galan can and never runs out of energy. The power of the big bang around him didn't even wake unicron from his sleep.

That's one more than Galactus has done. He has 3 solar systems tops.
Show where the UN destroyed the multiverse, and no, the Abraxas incident isn't an example of it.
Btw. Transformers is a multiverse as well.

He has multiple galaxies tops and a part of him can destroy the multiverse.
Plus he's completely capable of devouring the multiverse.

Yes it is.

Maybe in theory. His comic feats show otherwise. Even Imperiex has shown more than Galan in far less appearances.
Not that destroying the multiverse or universe would do much to Unicron. It would certainly kill Galactus though.

Actually, it's not. Erasing Abraxas simply resulted in reality fixing itself.
Any other examples?
