That reminds me, Inuyasha was confirmed recently to get a sequel anime series. Kinda their version of Boruto I guess far as partly focusing on the next generation of characters, but Inuyasha and Sesshomaru being watchful fathers now is interesting.
The characters and episodes/arcs of the original anime were of varying quality, but always enjoyed the Feudal fairytale thing it had going for it. Will likely check out the new series at some point. The composer was said to be returning too, and all for hearing more of that legendary soundtrack.

The original anime reached the ending of the manga?
I remember it was cut short, before all the good stuff with Sesshoumaru's Tenseiga.

By that point though, I was already way behind and out of it. Truthfully, I only caught up and finished the series like sometime last year after I had some recommending me to finish it for years, and eventually did so when I was running out of other things to watch at the time and was feeling nostalgic. The hiatus also unfortunately resulted in some characters like Sesshomaru getting different dub VA's in the final season, but I got used to it after awhile, and Sess at least sounded similar enough to the original one. Tho yeah, his Tenseiga evolution and Bakusaiga was pretty cool, on that note. Also crazy seeing how many forms Inuyasha's Tetsusaiga had by the end.
