😆 Seriously, I never floss either, but then again I have a couple of cavities, but in places where flossing wouldn't matter. I think I beat your five years, I haven't been at all after the year 2000, crap I think it might be like ten years. 😮
People just don't get it: putting off the dentist leads to pain and costly expenditures. It's cheaper, healthier, and less painful to go regularly.
well I have the dentisits at 6pm tonight however, one of my wisdom teeth has decieded to flare up and I think I have an infection in the gum! (wish they would just take the ****ing thing out!!!!!)
I'm ment to be having 3 fillings, but if I have an infection it means he cant do anything until the infection is gone (antibiotics) and then I have to make another appointment.
I spoke to him earlier about this an I said that I was taking painkillers and such (which he didnt even mention!) and they werent even touching the pain, he just said he would have a prescription waiting for me when I get there and he will have a look. 😬
great sympathist, my dentist 🙄
You guys are way too young, with your fillings, cleanings, and wisdom teeth.
Wait until you start getting the crowns and root canals, or bite into popcorn at the movies and your tooth cracks in half, like what happened to me a month ago. For the record, I was watching The Happening, so that may explain it.

I didn't refer to how long before the year two thousand either, did I? I think I haven't been since about 1996 or so, the 2000 thing was just a quick generalization Mr. Specific. Don't make me f**king kill you.

Damn it!!!!!I've got to have a root canal done later today and I'm a super wuss when it comes to the dentist.
Last time I had to have some work done, he hit a nerve in one of my teeth and I punched him for it 😖any advice would be grateful as I'm dreading actually having it done AND the pain afterwards when the anasthetic wears off cry
I'm such a wimp!!!!!
I know what you're goin' through, I often find myself having to burst into the dentist screaming and punching while kicking because I prepare myself just outside by.....screaming, punching and kicking.
I've often found that after you have work done, you should gurgle some water with alittle salt to disenfect everything. It'll stinng slightly but it keeps works such as root canals clean and free of germies!

I've had a root canal. I nearly jumped a mile when they got through to the tooth and hit the root, not because it hurt so much but because I felt something. They then injected lidocaine into the root itself. Guess what? I couldn't feel anything afterwards.
The only thing you have to be afraid of when it comes to a root canal is that your jaw is going to get sore from having your mouth hanging open for forty-five minutes.
Also, you won't feel any pain once the anesthetic wears off because--gasp!--the root of your tooth will be removed, meaning that there will be no nerves left.
