Hmmm. . .how about this. Both team 1 and team 2 are unaware that they are in the same sector of space. All of the sudden Supperman's supper senses pick up the sounds of singing team one is having a sing along. Superman charges forward at SUPERspeed. At the same moment Silver Surfer detects Superman and begins his charge at FTL speeds, unfortunately both of them are on the same course and collide, causing a new big bang which wipes out everything. Except Burger King.
