Captain America VS Batman, w/ a twist

It's a completely unarmed fight. No shield, no batarangs, no gadgets or equipment. Batman doesn't have his utility belt or any gas pellets, tazers, etc. Neither man has any body armor. This is a purely hand-to-hand fight with no shadows to hide in.

Cap 8/10.

Cap definitely-he has the same level of h2h skill as Bats, but is stronger faster and more agile

Been done a gazillion times and Cap beats the breaks out of battyboy everytime.

This 'twist' is nothing new. This exact thread has been made a dozen times in the past; use one of those.

In this scenario, I personally give Cap the narrow nod for one reason. Batman can win this if he's bloodlusted. If he's willing to kill Captain America, he can win.

If he's just going for the KO, he'll get some wins, but Cap will by attrition.

Even then, I only give Cap 6/10.

Bat-rude is right, this is not a fight where anyone stomps. It's too evenly matched.

How do you figure, I mean without any weapons or armor this comes down to just skill and physical stats and while they are close in skill, Cap has the advantage in every physical stat.

Extremely debatable. Correlations can be made between the two of them to show equal physical attributes.

In JLA/Avangers the writers said that Batman was indicating that Cap was superior.

Cap from what I could see beat Promotheus who downloaded Batmans fighting skill.

Also in another series Batman said that Cap had the slight edge.

Doesn't really matter if you didn't get the point. The writers intended what Batman said was an indication that Cap was superior.

Captain America is physically superior and is also more skilled,Batman is smarter and over all a superior strategist and tactician. Batman might be able to pull in a few wins, but those will rely on luck not his ability to out fight Cap.

Thats irrelevant the writers said that was Batman admitting Cap was superior. Batman is not going to come right out and say that, hes too proud.
