Sounds like sympathy to me. The man can't win. Rather than paint him as a desperate madman who cannot accept his own failure (which the media would usually love as a way of discrediting someone) he's simply said to have accepted it. Ron Paul's ability to manipulate the Illuminati from outside their ranks is one of the most dangerous political forces in the world today.
