Only teams which look like they have some balance and will do anything so far are Portugalesen and Germanian imo. Although The box heads look wobbly at the back at times.

They played really, really well.

I have no idea what went wrong with Italy.

To be fair, they weren't that great. Offside first goal, then continual counters on a bizarrely shit Italian side.

They won't do so well in the other games, I don't think. Remains to be seen though. I've watched them prior to that game recently and they were crap.

I'm interested to see if Spain do their usual bottling.

no cannavaro, totti or nesta. thats what was wrong really. they cant defend without nesta and cannavaro. and if they cant defend then they cant do much else.
