Nice bump, but Lucy isn't involved.

There's no evidence of Neron being a fallen angel. In his true form he's a shapeless green mass of flesh with tentacles -- more in line of a lovecraftian horror.

Fallen angel means demon only in the christian mythos. Lucifer is a fallen angel but he's surely no demon.

If anyone cares anymore, this is not true. It was explicitly said in Lucifer's series that demons are the angels that followed Lucifer when he "fell".

Who knows who wins. It depends on what you call an angel, I guess. Both teams are infinite in number, or near enough so. Gabriel is supposed to be near Michael/Lucifer, but lacks any feats to back that up.

that wouldnt apply to the first.
are all other DC demons fallen angels?

Lacks feats? The phucker nearly killed Lucifer in single combat during the first War in Heaven:

he didn't kill him though. he seemed just fine afterwards:

though a couple of pages back in the same issue gabriel was portrayed as being a peer to lucifer and michael, and had a vital role in creation:

however, there's no indication that he's multiversal, since the original creation of lucifer and michael was only a universe, no mention of a multiverse (issue 26):

there have been other references to the creation story i believe, though nothing about a multiverse was mentioned.

so gabriel's role/power is universal, while lucifer's and michael's were shown to be multiversal after the lucifer:nirvana retcon.

The point is that he mortally wounded Lucifer and had him at his mercy, so much so that he could possibly have killed him were it not for Yahweh's eventual interference.

That feat can be debated at great length, and as I said Gabriel was something of a peer to Michael and Lucifer.

As we've seen before, Angelic weaponry seems to be quite powerful, at least against angels and in the hands of a sufficiently powerful wielder (e.g. Gabriel vs. Lucifer, Sandalphon vs. Michael)

But the point was Gabriel hasn't shown any ability to engage and defeat an infinite number of Celestials.

As I said, it's impossible to tell who would win. The numbers are ridiculous, and the abilities of both sides (especially angels) are largely unknown.

I agree that barring the weapons, neither Sandalphon nor Gabriel actually showed the ability to hang with either Lucy or Mike.

Also, iirc Lucifer punked out Gabriel when the latter decreed that child Mazikeen be executed for assassinating a member of the Angelic Host.

All that I saying is, he does have one or 2 feats, and isn't a Shuma Gorath type being for the Vertigoverse.

Edit: I also don't think that Angelic weaponry in general was that powerful. Lucifer and Michael being affected could probably be attributed to dynamic duranility, or that Lucifer must have used his energy manipulation to shield himself from Michael's blast. I'll try to dig up some feats for those spears.

How many different types of spears do they use? Is Spear of Destiny to be counted?

Yes.

Actually, any weapons in the hands of an Angel becomes magical. That's why Lucifer was able to cut his wings with a knife.

There's Zuriels sword.

Celestials.

Although I'm not too familiar with what the Pax Dei have actually accomplished on-panel.

Based on what the Lucifer series showcased them to be, most of them varied from high meta to low herald at best.

Thanks. Was Zauriel the one who stood down Spectre in his angelic form?
