Well, first, I'd love to hear an argument pitting AOTC Kenobi vs. ROTJ Luke and having Luke come out on top.

Saying that, in a Two on One fight where the Two lost quite handily to the One, it'd be rather... moronic to believe that replacing a member of the Two with a less experienced and less powerful person is gonna help their cause.
