Stan Winston: 1946 - 2008

Not sure if anyone else has heard but Stan Winston, a person who has contributed a lot to the film industry during his life, passed away last night at the age of 62.

A winner of 4 Oscars, Stan helped create some of the most iconic movie monsters and beings in film. He was a true legend of film and his talent will be missed.

He was an excellent special effects artist. I've always loved his work. He will be missed

Aww man. reat work on Predator, Terminator, and Aliens. Did alot of other things too. I believe his last work was on AVP R which was an aweswome film.

It's a damn shame. So long Stan.
