GOTG has two issues. Not enough feats to judge fairly

Current Guardians have like, one member above mid herald, so unless Warlock gets better feats than Thanos in a few issues the current team gets stomped.

Yes. There is a raccoon (Rocket) and a dog (Cosmo) on the current GOTG line up.
