"No of course I do not wish to fight you commander, but Satan will have my head if I do not kill Kaiisura myself. You have to step down...please" Salmo pleaded making a huge scene with his cleaver hand while reaching for a knife with his other, his arm was starting to recover from Saizure's attack. It was one of the strengths of his demon blood. Whether Shadow stepped down or not, he would die for this mutiny.
"Please." he said again before roaring and lashing throwing the poisoned blade.

Shadow raised Kiryu in defense, knocking the knife aside, but still taking a cut to his index finger.

"You dare to attack a commander!?"

His eyes glowed a dark crimson as hatred intervened where nervousness once had. He threw a single dagger through the enemy's arm, pinning it to the ground, and stepped forward unrelenting.

"Return to Hell, and tell them that Commander Shadow Royale has gone AWOL. Tell them that he is now working for the highest bidder as a mercenary, and that he will have the heads of any and all who come after him."

And with that, he turned, pausing only long enough to remove his blade from the peon's arm. Now, to go check on that other. Considering the fact I'm now the most hunted piece of meat on the battlefield... He made his way to the mountain peak he had sent Kaiisura to

(remember that the blade that cut your index finger was poisoned. I'm not a peon 🙁 )Salmo screamed in pain as his arm had already been injured by Kaizure. He could not return to hell until both of his marks were assassinated, however, fighting Shadow, Kaiisura, and Saizuke all at the same time gave him terrible odds. He would try to kill the archangel again.
Salmo made slow progress through the forest because of his injuries. "I..cannot..let Mordeth kill her.. I must get there." He kept grunting to motivate himself. He made it to the clearing where they were fighting, but realized that neither had yet struck a blow he waited against a tree out of sight for his injuries to heal.

Meanwhile, Orapel was flying at full speed. He knew that there was an angel camp nearby. When he got there there was already a female angel with a basket of sweetrolls. "Commander, a demon assassin has gone after Nakir, you must help her." She sobbed. "shhh, calm down." he said and touched her forehead. She closed her eyes and smiled. He smiled back at her then took flight.

On his way he saw a hill. There sat Shadow and Kaiisura with Saizure basking on the rocks. They were peaceful with eachother. They were a splitting image of Iofel and Shagrath. Just like he had dreamed. He had a feeling that the Demon would be hostile. He touched down.
"Demon. I come peacefully. I just need to rest for a little while. You don't need to mind me. If you do I will be forced to kill you." He said. While peaceful by nature, Orapel was very uncomfortable around demons.

Iofiel quietly stepped out onto the battle field. Demons and angels alike dropping their weapons and watching her. She amide her way through the parting crowd, her glowing light illuminating each step she took. Once she reached Nakir and Mordeth, she stopped and watched quietly. Nakir dropped her sword and watched Iofiel draw near. Her guard was down as she watched the once dead angel.

Orapel detected something was amiss with Iofel, and followed her. When he reached the clearing behind Iofel he said her name. "Iofel, is it really you?"

Iofiel turned her gaze to Orapel. "Yes my child... It is me." She smiled and looked each man in the eye. "I have returned... Do not be deceived."

"Iofel!" He ran up and hugged her a single tear streaming down his cheek, then in his minds eye, when he touched her, a small fairy of fire let out a shrill scream at him. He jumped back stunned "Iofel, What is wrong with you?"

She blinked and hugged him back. "Nothing... My trip here held many an adventure. I've come across thousands of demons and angels alike. I am tiered.. Please. Stop this fighting." She smiled and ran her fingers across his cheek.

(I'm so confused...is it Iofel...forizzles or Gean) He was still uncomfortable. He had always loved Iofel, and was deeply disappointed when he found that she loved Shagrath and outraged when he heard that the demons had killed her. But before, she hated him. She would always ignore him. That was what attracted him to her. It seemed odd that she was paying attention to him now. "How did you come back?" he asked half-suspiciously, half-believing.

its gean))

She smiled and stepped away. "Thats for me to know, boy." She winked and looked back to Mordeth. "Leave."

A demon archer in the tree, his arrow pointed at Iofiels back. "Die again angel." He drew his arrow back and waited.

Orapel didn't like secrets. With a single touch to the head he could read her thoughts and see what had happened. It troubled him to be so sneaky but he needed to know the truth. "oh, Iofel" he said again going in for another hug.
(sorry it's a kind of shitty place for me to leave but I'm tired, so, I will talk to you tomorrow.)

serg followed kaisura and saizure silently, all the way to the mountain. he climbed up to a high branch and watched saizure heal kaisura's wounds. for some reason he began to laugh uncontrollably, so loud that he gave away his position to them.

Mordeth tightened his grip on his scimitars, ready for something but not knowing what. as he Iofiel looked at him, he felt his helt melt. this was the same feeling only one other person could do to him. the other person was..."Gean?" he whispered so only she could hear. he felt his body shake violently. how could this be? hi love, an angel? but not just an angel, the one that fell for Shagrath? how? Mordeth shook his head, knowing how much of a fool he looked right now

Satan looked at his wife "your going to get her killed by her owner. will that something else you planned?" he closed his eyes, not really waiting for her reply. "i tend to think i have no say in what happens around here. maybe its just me."

Ereshkigal smiled. "He wont kill her. He cant.. Look around him." Slowly, angels were falling from the sky, making a circle around him.

Gean, Iofiel, smiled at him. "I told you ot be gone demon. Your work here is done. Return to hell and your little Fairy."

Mordeth looke dat the circle of angels around him, still not knowing what to do "i will return to my fairy and make sure nothing happens to her. she's the most important thing to me and if anything happens to her, this war will be over in a heart beat." he closed his eyes and smiled weakly "Behemoth, come." he took one final look into Gean, Iofiel's, eyes and sighed, not knowing when he was going to see Gean agin

Satan sighed "well, it seems like Mordeth is smarter than i taken him for. now my wife, what is your plan for his return?"

Salmo was beginning to feel better. He looked down at his injured arm, his cut was now nothing more that a scratch. He grinned and carefully peered around a tree. 'Shit!' he thought to himself. 'Two more angels.' He climbed up the tree he was hiding behind for a better vantage point. Once he got near the top, He noticed another demon in a tree. The demon was near the other side of the clearing. He noticed that the demon in the tree had an arrow at the ready and was aiming at the clearing.
"No one is taking my target," he whispered angrily to himself, and, like a shadow, he leaped from tree to tree until he was on the other side where the demon was. He had no need for words at this point. He took out a knife doused in incredibly lethal poison and stabbed it in to the back of the demon. No emotion. No remorse. He held the dead demon against the tree so that he didn't fall out and alert everyone in the clearing, then, Salmo kept watch.

... there are three angels.... he was aiming a Iofiel.... you just killed someone who will be very important to me in my next post...))

Mordeth sighed as he walked through the arched doors of Satans palace, feeling a shiver of power run down his down his spine "what will i say when i come back empty handed?" he sighed again and forced himself into the great hall where Satan and Ereshkigal sit on their thrones

(I know, that's why Salmo said two 'more ' angels. He already knew Nakir was there. I can shoot Iofel if you really need me to 😮 ) Salmo took out his bow and took aim at Iofel first, then he would fight orapel (yay, I get to fight myself) deciding he would save Nakir for last.

just hold your fire till I tell you to shoot.))

Nakir stepped forward. "I dont trust you.. You look like Iofiel, but can you sing like an angel?" Gean panicked... Ereshkigal said nothing about a test. "I uh... I havent sang in a long time.. My throat is too dry. Please let us return to camp. I'll sing for you tomorrow." She smiled, hoping they would fall for it. Nakir nodded and whistled, a horse slowly walking out from the trees. "There you are Iofiel. Your faithful horse. I kept him for you, but surprisingly he wont let anyone other then you ride him." Gean gulped and looked up at the stallion. She's never ridden before. "Um.. Thank you Nakir." She climbed onto the horses back. "Nakir ride with me!" She grinned and scooted back. Nakir shrugged and crawled up to sit in front of Iofiel.

"Be prepared, that demon had let me escape him too many times on the battlefeild, I expect him to come up here and kill me once and for all." Kaiisura said. Saizure slowly grinned, "I doubt that M'lady, but just to be cautious..." Saizure went back to lion form, " I'm here to protect you M'lady." Saizure finished. Saizure laid down infront of her and Kaiisura realized she was exghausted. she laid herself in the nook between Saizure's chin and his front paws and slept peacefully. Saizure laid his head on her side and went into gaurd mode, promiseing to guard her with his life.
