[sorry 😛]

Ezekiel went besides Mordreth.

''My friend, it is time. I've held the angels army for as long as possible. But now they are slowly marching. Within days they will reach Hell's gate. You must now stand and accomplish your destiny. What I have forseen will happen, or will crumble, depending on your decision''.

With that, he unsheated Taker of Soul, the powerful.

''This sword belongs to you now'' Ezekiel said, tending the tilt towards Mordreth. ''Use it well, for it is as dangerous as it is powerful''.

Planting the sword in the ground, Ezekiel then turned arround, and sat on the ground, closing his eyes.

''What you decide, what you will do, I will follow''.

And with that he started meditating, concentrating on the angel like army that was marching. Conentrating on placing multiple barriers on their way, he could slow them down even more effectively.

He was calling Metatron to turn back, even if he knew he would not listen.

And with that he started meditating, concentrating on the angel like army that was marching. Conentrating on placing multiple barriers on their way, he could slow them down even more effectively.

He was calling Metatron to turn back, even if he knew he would not listen.

The celestial stood at the repeating barriers before the army. "Impediments," he scoffed calling to his side one of his hybrids. "Show the fool what we are capable of." And with that, the hybrid angel began to mumble words underneath his breath. His sword began to glow, and as he unsheathed it a large almost translucent sword appeared above him. The angel held the sword up near his face continuing to mumble words. He pivoted his body away the barriers before thrusting his body straight again and his sword forward. The first few barriers were shattered completely, the following few were split, and the rest were cracked enough to let the army through. The Celestial nodded in a approval and walked through the barrier, with the army behind him. Why do you resist? It is inevitable, this war. Satan will not fall any other way. His wife will not die unless by the sword. And yet you continue to pursue your fallacies. Why? You'll end up only like him in the end. Giving up your life in hopes that someone else will be able to see differently. But they'll only be blinded by greed for their new found ability and vision, that you end up dying in vain...

Ezekiel heard those words.

''It is not time yet. I will not let millions of innocent and controled demons die for one man's greed. They have a right to a true life, just as angels. Go back, or I will be forced to sstop you myself''.

Ezekiel said those words with regret.

Gean frowned and flew up to sit on his shoulder. "Ezekiel.. What's wrong my love?" She took one of his fingers and ran it over her stomach. "It's almost time."

''Yes'', Ezekiel whispered to Gean. ''You must go with Mordreth and assist him. What he is going to do, no one has ever done before in the course of this world's existence.''

He turned and looked at her, and he could see Ereshkigal's trait on her. He knew a part of her heart was in Gean.

''Gean... I will be leaving soon. And I cannot stand you being linked to a evil such as Ereshkigal... I am willing to give you half my heart, if you would accept it, in order to seperate you two. This way, you'll always have a little part of me with you''.

Ezekiel said those words with regret.

Oh Ezekiel, you haven't changed. Still the ignorant fool looking for answers you don't even have questions to. The army had descended into the realms of humans. It seemed like a great rift had been drawn across the sky and from this rip of heaven poured out all of God's holiness. The day was gray, an omen of the sadness to follow. But the angelic army fell like a brilliant array of golden water onto a hopeless world.

What do you think you will accomplish? You are mixing oil and water. For a while there will be peace. But they will forever be demons and angels. And they will never see as my Metatron once saw. Nor will they desire such a place. So in the end, it will boil down to a matter of patience. How long will they endure each other, before the inevitable war blows its horns again?

Gean shook her head and jumped from his shoulder, growing as she did. She hugged him and kissed his lips softly. "I would love that... But please.. Dont go again.. I cant stand loosing you a second time." She looked up into his eyes and ran a hand down his cheek.

Ezekiel smiled and touched his heart with his fingers. Closing them like a fist, he then plundged them in Gean's chest, where Ereshkigal's heart was. With black blood, it slowly escaped Gean's body with a watery consistency, and got filled up by a golden light. When the fingers came out of the fles, the wound was closed and instead off the now putrid heart on the ground, a golden wave started beating within Gean.

''I love you Gean'' he said as he got up. He was now free to go and kill Ereshkigal.

''But my time on this earth is numbered. What you see now is my spirit, not my body. I am too pure to dwell for very long in this world. If I do, everything arround me will lose its beauty to the eyes that saw me. Eventually, Earth would die by itself.''

He touched her belly.

''But a small one will soon rise, at the image of his father, and good on this earth he will do''.

With a small kiss, he flew away.

As he flew, he sensed Metatron's response, but this time did not communicate back.

''You are the one who is the fool. There is no questions to be answered. Once we get rid of the two plagues within this world, Satan and you, such water and oil could combine'', he muttered to himself.

''Before my time is up, I will defeat you''.

Arriving at the forest of his youth, he heard Ereshkigal scream for Satan.

''Have I not told you it was useless''. With a contemplation he added. ''Now I am free to kill you''.

Her eyes widened, he was right she couldnt feel Gean anymore. "No... No you fool stay back! Don't you come near me, I camad you to stay back!" She struggled against the ropes. "SATAN! SATAN MY LOVE COME TO ME!"

Gean closed her eyes and put her hand on her stomach, before slolwy moving it to her heart. "Ezekiel.. I love you." She sighed and shrank before returning to Mordeth's side.

Ezekiel approached.

''Foolish Ereshkigal, you have lost the right to rule with your lies and deception. For one love, I shall take the worst of you, freeing a dear one that has been for two long under your influence. Come now, Ereshkigal, and praise yourself. I shall show you something far worse than a sword.''

And with those words, he opened his wings, lighting all arround them with golden lights of truth. A strange wind started to blow, and it grew bigger and bigger. With a clap of his wings, he made the wind push straight on Ereshkigal. The wind slowly opened her mind, and spirit, leaving the body as it was. And there it was. Her immortal essence, buried deep within her.

Summoning his trusted bow, he hooked up an arrow of light.

''On this day, Ereshkigal, you will see that immortality, living for as long as time has, does not mean one cannot pass away''.

With a strike he let the arrow fly, transported by the wind, reaching her depths and striking head on the immortal essence.

She let out an ear splitting scream as the arrow tore through her mortality. For a moment, as she stood there, her body took on the form of Gean. "EZEKIEL! HOW DARE YOU! HOW DARE YOU HARM ME! YOU WILL BURN FOR THIS! I'LL MAKE SURE YOU BURN!" Once the arrow had ripped appart her immortality, she grew silent. Her eyes were wide open and full of pain.

Ezekiel unsommoned his bow.

He came closer to Ershkigal and made the golden ropes dissapear.

''What I have taken from you, you will never get it back, for no one on this planet, even Satan or God, could give back immortality, the blessed gift of all high ranked.''

He held her and brought her up.

''But I shall not kill you, for what you have shown me. And for what you have helped me with. But know that I hold you no love, and dead or alive, you are nothing anymore.''

He turned arround and made a few steps before stopping.

''Another than me has in its destiny to kill you. I trust you know who she is. As for Nakir, she is free from your demonic charm.''

And so he flew away, leaving her by herself to find her way home.

Stopping the angel's army was now a priority.

Ershkigal slumped to the forest floor. She had no strength. Without her immortality she was only human. She had no will to live. "Satan... my love.... I'm sorry.. I will always love you."

[I'm just going to say that we are at the gates. We've begun preparing for the siege, and the army is ready to go. I wont be on for today and I can't promise anything tonight. Sorry, too lazy to post anything elaborate now, but try to not to get too far ahead of me 😛, thanks]

Satan walked to his wife's side and knelt down, his eyes wide in shock "no...no it can't be...no. NOOOO!!!" he looked up at the sky and screamed, black demonic wings with a spand of fifty feet ripped out of his back. he smiled and stood up "heaven, i'm coming today and its not because i'm forgiven..." he picked his wife's body up and placed her over his shoulders

Mordeth stood off to the side and watched Gean and the half-breed, growling low enough for only Behemoth to hear. hte great beast stood still but was tense, ready for any command. he sighed and sat down, his wounds still bleeding and still throbbing

Verin stood up, a tear running down his cheek. "No, your right, she isn't going anywhere, not with me." He turned his attention to Azreil. "I say this, because I cannot let her live in pain, I have failed her on three occasions, no more. I will end her suffering, do not stand in my way..." He unsheafed one of his swords and looked at Nakir. "I love you Nakir, I'm sorry." In hisother hand was a dagger, which he threw at Azreil. He then looped his sword around a few timed as he cleared the few meters distance and prepared to impale her. "We will see each other again, I hope." Tears stung his eyes as he drove the sword down.

stan would never have found her in the first place.))

yes he would just let it go. she wouldnt even be able to move if he hadnt of found her.))

Ereshkigal looked sadly up at her husband as he picked her up off of the ground. She smiled faintly and whispered to him. "Lucifer... My love... I'm so sorry... I'm sorry for the way I have been acting..." She closed her eyes and rested her head on his shoulder as he flew.

Gean smiled and flew over to Mordeth. "Are you read- Oh god mordeth you're still bleeding!" She went to one of his wounds and gently blew on it, a cool sensation would run through his body, stopping all bleeding and soothing the pain. "There... Now come on.. Let's go get some rest before we stop the army." She went to fly, but fell to the ground clutching her stomach.
