Gean brushed his hands off of her. "I dont believe you. Youll take one look at him and you'll think of..." She turned to see her son standing behind her. "Momma?" She looked at her son. He looked just like his father. "Ezekiel.. God back to bed." He stood for a moment longer, looking up at Mordeth, then turned and went back to his room.Ereshkigal's eyes widened. "What are you doing?" She slowly started to back away. The back of her knees hit his throne. She lost her ballance and fell onto the seat. She pressed her back against the back of the chair as she watched him. "You wouldnt!"
Nakir called for one of her men as she studdied her map. "Send for Ariana.... I wish to speak with her." The gurd nodded and flew off to search for the angel.
<<Whoa, sorry it took so long to notice this. x.x >>
Ariana awoke from a deep sleep, the cave around her still warm, though the fire had been extinguished for some time. She yawned, stretching, and threw her blanket back into the bag, raising up to remove her pillow before throwing it inside, as well. She had rested enough to be her normal, vibrant self again, and made it a point to circle the cave's open area once quickly before pushing the rocks she'd piled in front of the entrance away, opening the cave to daylight. "Ah, such a pretty sight. Daylight streaming in, the sun shining, and not a cloud in the sky. Why, if I didn't know any better, I'd say the others are looking for something." She smiled and grabbed her bag, jumping into a freefall from the cave as she spread her wings about midway down, soaring for a good distance before landing in a tree, crouched upon a higher branch. "I am getting really hungry. I guess I should find some kind of berries or something? Maybe a school of fish or something? I'm sure it's acceptable to eat them if they're already on the verge of death. Not like God doesn't have a sense of humour, right?" She shook her head, laughing nervously. "Great, now I'm talking to myself. Next thing you know, it'll be full-blown conversations, and then, I'll be losing arguments to... well, me. Damn, I have gotta quit doing this. It's really starting to get creepy." She dropped from her perch, landing with a heavy thud on the ground, as she looked for some form of food. "I wonder... If they miss me yet?" She scoffed as the thought entered her mind. "I don't need them. I'm gonna be fine making my way as the best there ever was, all on my own!" As she found a small bush covered in blackberries, she sat and began eating them, memories of all the good times she had shared with friends over the last few years flooding her thoughts, as only one single thought overpowered them all: Like it or not, I do miss home, already...
