Because you're still putting nicotine in your system. I found that if you just wait it out for a week, your system is cleansed of the nicotine and then it just becomes about your will power to stay away from what you've been used to for so long.

thats what they gave my brother when he was asking for a cigarette all the time, it helped, he doesnt ask that often anymore
