What exactly is the difference between College and University if there is any?

Id like to study Archaeology, History of Art or maybe Psychiatry

well depends what you want to do,

over here you would usually go to college if you wanted to gain the right grades to go to uni,

you can do hairdressing courses, craft apprenticeships, photography etc,

in uni you would do things like, law degree, doctor, Psychology

going to uni means you will probably get a "better" job

I am going to college for a year to get the grades to start uni next year.

when you go to uni you get a degree, but in college you won't

We have only basic school(9yrs), then secondary school(3-5yrs)in which u graduate and then u can apply for university
