Request for Eon Blue...seeing that this sig is an album cover, i had a dilemma....do i just crop the pic and put a name on it? or mess around with effects and take a chance that the premise of the album cover is thrown out the window...so i compromised....here are 2 sigs and 3 avatars...i hope you like them π

I love how you do gif animation xDThese are really awesome! What prog. do you use?
Thanks...i use Adobe Photohop V 6.0..its an older version..but it comes with..ImageReady...a program that lets me animate.....but i believe newer versions have animation built into them.

yeah, they do have them. I'm trying to work on my animation stuff - haven't gotten the hang of it yet. πagain, great stuff. ^^
Here...i wanna show you something. i just threw this together from spare parts...so to speak.....but this is the reason i do simple animation...this is what happens....
Here is the sig the way i want it to look(its a quick job..not clean)..128kb
And heres what it will look like under the file size restrictions....47kb
Flashing lights..bullets,small moving parts..tiny things...work well...and they can look good as sigs.....but when trying to do more and working with lots of color etc.....it does not work......i stopped trying to make these types of sigs.....its stinks when i know i can do so much more ( i want to make an actuall fight in a sig) but all i can do is show them off...they cant be used.....so i dont bother π

oh - there it is. woops. just came up for me >.<anyway, I see your point. it looks seriously pixelated and such. >.< It does look nice with the huge file size... better.
so with the lights flashing - you have two versions of the picture ready and pile them up in animation?
Sometimes its easy.......
Duplicate layer......change levels(dark or lighter)...thats it....one frame normal next frame lighter/darker....no delay.....flashing/blinking!..so yes two versions alternating.
For certian areas only....select the areas of the sig you want to flash(like energy blast).....Right Click-Layer via Copy----then change the copied portions darker or lighter.......so on the second frame it will show the normal sig/pic...and the copied portion(energy blast lighter or darker) is on top of the first layer on the second frame.....same thing...no delay(or if you want it to flash slower some delay)..two frames alternating.... π
