Well, in my defense, he WAS referencing that one specific instance (or recent incidents) where he was doing the insults. I thought that I would broaden it to more than just your instance and say he didn't have any rhyme or reason, good, bad, or otherwise for the voluminous insults.

I wasn't taking up for him. I wasn't insulting him either.
