Yes.

Who Jamella ?

first i've heard she's a paladin.

Jamella is a friggin angel.. so I doubt that... at least I dont think any schmo besides the "hero" can just waltz through the bastion gates

Also, I'm technically correct about Fara

"I know much about the ancient religions. I was trained as a Paladin of Zakarum in the Eastern Kurast temple many years ago.

Welcome, brother Paladin. I am Fara. I was once a devout champion of Zakarum."

while I hadnt thought that women could become paladins.. she, at that time, was no longer a paladin as she admitted to losing her title many years ago.. now she just sits around with her cleavage hanging out tossing around petty heals

jamella is an act IV npc with no dialogue http://www.blizzplanet.com/content/473/

so apparently just the amazon gets screwed with the female / male conversion?

She is female, is she not? If females couldn't be Paladins, then why were she allowed to train in the first place and even titled a champion?

Where does it say Jamella is an angel?

I do not know. Was she ever part of the books?

she is currently no longer a paladin, which has been stated by her

and I had said there are no female paladins

so what part of that is me being proven wrong? its all a matter of time line

also its pretty obvious jamella is celestial at the very least, if she isnt an angel already.. writing script into thin air and residing at the bastion fortress

Script into thin air .... that could be considered magic .... there's a lot of that in Diablo .... not only among angels ....

And since that woman has been a paladin, it isnt impossible that being a female paladin is possible.

But you said "Also, I'm technically correct about Fara"

Oh bloody nevermind.............

honestly this whole debate about which npc is or isn't a paladin is pointless and useless

well it basically stemmed from my curiosity about whether or not the paladin class could be exempt from diablo 3.. like with barbarians, I have never seen a female barbarian (unless you count charsi.. she a biiiiig woman) NPC either (not one fighting at least), until Diablo 3 gameplay... and wouldnt a female barbarian be an amazon anyways?

I just dont want paladin (or any of the other cool d2 classes) to fall to the fate of the necromancer, and be butchered just to give another class some skillz

Diablo 3 To Keep Its Colors

Diablo 3 has been announced less than 3 weeks ago and more than 50,000 of its fans have already signed a petition asking the game designers to change its colorful art style to a darker tone.

Fortunately for the rest of us, this isn't enough to convince Blizzard to reconsider Diablo 3 art direction.

There's no going back now," said Jay Wilson, Diablo 3 lead designer. "We're very happy with how the art style is. The art team's happy. The company's happy. We really like this art style, and we're not changing it."

Wilson then revealed that moving away from the darker gothic art style of Diablo 2 was one of the most discussed topics among Diablo 3 designers, but ultimately gameplay was the factor that settled it. "When you have 30 creatures on screen - and four or five different types - target prioritization is a factor," he explained. "You need to be able to tell those things apart fast, and you can’t do that when your world is gray and your creatures are gray".

lol after 50k people requested otherwise.. nice decision making blizz XD

50.000 potential players signed a petition. That is probably not even a portion of the estimated quantity of buyers. Not to metion that all whom signed the petition will play the game even if no changes at all would be made. If Blizzard gave into 50.000 votes, a petition would be formed for every dislike there is.

I commendate Blizzard Entertainment for not giving into the desires of the petition. Very good choice.

but its against what 'they' had originally designed the diablo universe to be in the first place...

players had absolutely no trouble targeting things in diablo 2 with its dark and grainy atmosphere.. I dont see what would make 3d any different.. I'm sure more than 50,000 people feel that way as well

starcraft fans are not liking starcraft 2, either btw.. and they MADE blizzard

I like it brighter, and likely not the only one.
