I assume it was common knowledge he had cancer. Its been a few years since it was announce he had cancer.

I didn't know he had cancer. This is hard news.

He was my Girlfriends fav comic artist...

I just found out that he passed a couple of minutes ago, I knew he had cancer for a while now but it's shocking news to read indeed. Loved his art. R.I.P.

this man was a genius and i think we should just give him a round of a applause. He was the best Cover artist and one of the normal artist.he made Superman batman 2 which was the comic that got me into DC.So Bravo Micheal may you rest in peace at the age of 37

I was surprised to see the news of M.T passing on CNN, specially since its been over a week now. Im glad that it was acknowledege in a medium other than comic book sites/messageboards.

I loved his art, can't believe he died...and so young too. I loved his Flash cover art.

Honestly, I rarely take any note of who does the artwork or writing on my comics (unless it's terrible, then I remember who it was ... damn Chaykin)

Even though I never knew who Michael Turner was before now, I will miss his contributions to an industry that I love.

I am the same way.

I didn't know who he was until just now.

He drew one of my favorite illustrations of Darkseid, and Superman-Batman for that matter.
