I don't actually think they're going to be "evil". One could say that some of the things the first Illuminati did were borderline bad and in some cases out right dumb but they weren't good or evil. Their motto was the end justifies the means.

Emma and Namor are probably there to ensure that there is a force to stand up to Starks not so clever decisions this past year.

Hellstorm is an antihero as well, he's not "bad guy" in actual sence of the word, just being a halfdemon doesn't make him automatically bad. So the team is sort of responce to Stark's actions etc, I agree, not the typical "bwa-ha-hah' squad of bad guys (can't be, as three members are good guys\antiheroes).

well loki has frost giant lineage....and they are shapeshifters so im sure he can change back at anytime..him being a chick is just for mind f ****ing's sake...even tho i dont see why loki and doom would be there...Emma is obviously there to represent mutant interests, Hellstrom(if it is him) is obviously there to stave off his father's and sister's attempt to invade and subjugate the earth. the Hood who has been established as a competent replacement to the kingpin wants to boost his empire, Namor has a soverign nation to rebuild, but Doom wants to destroy Reed, and rule the world in that order...Loki wants to destroy thor, and rule the world in that order. so i dont see why they are there

I was looking at the picture again.

I think the guy in the middle is Ezekiel Stane.

So it would be:
Ezekiel Stane for Iron Man.
Emma for Xavier.
Doom for Reed.
Namor for Namor.

Strange could go with the Hood or Loki to be honest. We'll see depending on the identity of the Demon that he draws his power from. Could very well be Dormmamu.

That leaves Blackbolt and Loki I guess the only thing they have in common is that their powersets are pretty uber and they are "God-Like" beings.

The eclipse in the back is supposed to have something to do with the Void.

These guys will look like pussies compared to the cold bloodness of the good 'Illuminati' anyway i mean if the supposed good guys went around doing that stuff with the infinty gems and hulk what can the Evil's bar genocide of some race be expected to pull out of the hat.

namor being on doom's illuminati kind of makes sense given that namor "moved in" with doom after the whole "atlantean diaspora" in namor's recent mini.
