Indiana Jones comics

Has anyone else checked out the older comics that were done which can now be found in the Omnibus's from darkhorse ??

I've got volume 1 myself they seem to be like the films the same sort of deal that you would expect for indy stories.

I have most of them I think... I use to collect them when they came out. They were kinda fun.

I see that they've started up the comic series again

with Indiana Jones and the Tomb of the Gods and also a ongoing children's series entitled Indiana Jones Adventures (same deal like the clone wars adventures).

Uh-oh... with Lucas as editor?

Also since when has Lucas been an editor for comics ?

Will Spielberg be responsible for colours/inks or will he be exec-producing this comic until every last page has been refitted to resemble a heavily used piece toilet paper that would insult the fans of the already established comic run....?

Lucas is on a disastrous trajectory for sure.
But lets not pretend that all the suckage eminates from Lucas.

War of the worlds and Transformers had nothing to do with Lucas outside of ILM, to the best of my knowledge.

exactly my point since when has Lucas and spilberg done stuff for comics

nothing to my knowledge..... seem to have stuck to the film side of things.

Lucas supervises everything Lucasfilm... the comics include that.

the star wars comics suck, but, the indy comics actually werent that bad at all.

Its a good start for part 1 hopefully the team for this story keeps it going good and it has the nazi's in it specifically the Ahnenerbe.
