Personal Bodyguard

You are a witness for a very important courtcase that could send the crime lord Kingpin to jail for the rest of his life. In return, Fisk is getting very nervous and he has paid alot money for the bounty on your head.

Some known hired guns include:

Bullseye
Sabretooth
Green Goblin
Bane
Pyro
Joker
Mr Freeze
Lady Deathstrike
T1000

The assassins placed at the last checkpoint has been confirmed to be Carnage AND Venom .

There will also be some normal human mercenaries out for your head.

You have a long trip (by car) to make through the city to make it to a safe zone. Unfortunately, the travel route has somehow been leaked half-way through your trip. Travelling at the normal speed, you still have one hour before you reach your safe zone.

Sudden new intel shows that there will be attacks on your vehicle.

At each 1km interval, there is a safety checkpoint, in which you will be safe from danger. So its not absolutely necessary to kill any threatening villains (unless you have to), its more important to run away and reach the checkpoints.

Currently you only have 3 squads of cars with Delta Force teams inside. It is estimated that they will not be able to fight off all of the attacks.

The assassins are all paid individually and only the one person that is successful gets paid. So, there is no team-up's amongst the criminals (an exception is there is team-ups amongst normal human mercenary groups - And also Carnage and Venom at the last checkpoint) - and it is unlikely they will storm you all at the same time. Your enemies also have had a whole week to plan their attack, so they'll be more than ready for you. Expect threats such as sniper fire aswell as RPGs.

During your trip, you must stay within your car . Heroes are not allowed to remove you from it. Your armoured car does provide protection from gunfire and also from two or three attacks from explosive devices. The assassin's primary target is YOU, and will not waste time fighting your guards unless it was absolutely necessary.

At this point, all heroes are out on other important missions. Only one was able to come be your personal bodyguard -

All heroes will have with them their standard weapons and equipment.

oh and I'd have Night Crawler as my bodyguard.
I'd buy a space suit and have him teleport me off world every so often, so that no-one could get a hit on me.

Gotta say I would go with Iron Man. He is strongest one here, one of the smartest, and one of the best suited (pun intended) for dealing with spontaneous situations.

but since i CAN'T leave the car it has be to IM.

batman, hands down the most competent

Ironman, followed by Captain America or Batman, are the best choices, imo.

Cap and Bats bring the organization and brains.

Storm has control over the weather. That means fog surrounding the car. Hail storms making long range shots near impossible.

Iron Man.

He take the car, me in it, and we go directly to the court ftw.

And after that, he kick the collective ass of them, having difficulty with Deathstrike and Sabertooth.

Iron man and then storm. Night crawler would be the worst guard IMO since you are not allowed to leave the car

storm, horrible thunderstorms for miles around and lightning hitting all the snipers and mercs or 200 mph winds sweeping groundforces away from the car

Plus Storm could just blow the bad guys away or have mini tornado keep em occupied until the coast is clear...

But I still hate escort missions.
