I actually saw SlipKnoT live yesterday at Mayhemfest. Yay.

I just got the new album today and I'm pretty impressed. They mixed soft vocals with their regular screaming vocals, a nice blend and they have sort of a new sound to their music than their old material. Overall the cd was better than I expected it to be so I would recommend it.

I need to download this ASAP. I'm just too lazy to.

Hmm, I've yet heard it, I'll provide my opinionated review when I get a chance to buy it.

As of late, I have not found myself caring much for Slipknots' work.

The new/er stuff just does not have the same appeal that their earlier music did, imho.

damn All Hope Is Gone is 100% pure venom and the way I've been feeling recently, it couldnt have come at a better time.

this is the best cd of the summer, period. no matter if you like old slipknot or new, this cd is for all of those who listen to them...some of the songs just blow you away and make you crave more...alot more stronger than the first 4 (including the one with anders)
