Hellboy vs. Luke Cage

How this goes?

Luke Cage all most every time

Hellboy destroys Cage imo.

He fights bigger and badder for a living.

hell no he does not. hell boy has no advantage vs luke cage nor can his weapons pierces lukes skin.

Cage has titanium skin, he barely feels most attacks.

I don't think Hellboy has the durability to tank a slugfest, or the physical power to hurt Cage. I could be wrong though.

That's basically all Hellboy does, he enjoys the slugfests

Wasn't Super Adaptoid bragging about having Luke Cage's "unbreakable" skin when fighting the Sentry, Ironman and Ms. Marvel? Or am I remembering wrong, because that seems to suggest that he is durable as all get out.

Well.....if he's actually beaten people on par with Luke Cage or better, then I have miscalled this fight.

I don't know if Hellboy can win, but I seriously suggest people to read the Hellboy fight in "Hellboy: Darkness Calls" where he fights Koschei the Deathless. That fight was a very very impressive showing for Hellboy hand to hand.

No, one does not need to pierce his skin to cause him physical damage.

Remember during Secret War when he was caught in the middle of huge explosion? Nothing actually pierced his skin, but he was left almost dead. Doctors couldn't operate on him because they couldn't break his skin.

Not saying who wins just yet, but I wanted to clear that up.

Well Hellboy has fought Beasts that are 5x the size of him and of course he gets knocked around but he still manages to beat them.

Hard to compare the two really, i need to read more HB, but even then, asking the usual questions - "how would HB match up to Cage's enemies" - and vice versa i cant pick aan all out winner.

5/5 - says my gut

but for argument sake id give LC the edge just because of his durability.

But if he was "surprised" by how strong a weak ass vampire was..

i think he gets a hefty "wake up" call against HB.
