I have a copy of both and, i too, prefer blood and Iron over Sword of Storms. It feels more like one of the comics. I do, however, like both of them. It took a while for me to warm up to the art style, especially after i had watched the short documentary on Sword of Storms, explaining how they chose the style. I think it's really cool that mignola had a fan contest, but the cat they went with really annoys the shit out of me. I don't mind the art at all, now, though. I hope they make a few more movie's.
Didn't they plan on an animated show for a while? I hope that never happens.
Same i like them both but yea i like blood & Iron alot more
There was a third movie with lobster Johnson in the works but looks like its been put on hold and production will only continue if the previous animated features DVD sales rise

On March 19, 2008, a message was posted on the Hellboy Animated site by producer Tad Stones stating that no work is being done on this film. However, Stones also wrote that some smaller animated projects may be done for internet release, and hinted that the release of Hellboy II: The Golden Army may affect the future of the animated film series.
