I use Photoshop for my sigs, well in this one I used it for the background with the image being an Illustration I did in Adobe Illustrator so it's a combo of the two software packages.
The reason I bring up GIMP is because it's very interesting to see your sig, it's well done and you don't even have a more detailed, professional product like Photoshop; yet you still made a very good sig, one suggestion though I would consider removing that white mist effect it looks very low res and makes the arm/side of the sig look very pixelated which sort of diverts attention from the character (as well as just plain awful.)
Other then that I would be rather proud of what you have created using gimp, if only you had Photoshop that would really help you further your designs, but still very good work.
Can you tell I did a 2 year course in multimedia and design yet? haermm

No cause your sigs are just so God awful 😛I kid I kid, yeah the mist was just something I added, dunno why, I may remove it some time
I think it would be much better without it, that or find a way to make it less pixelated.
As for my sigs, I would agree with the first lot I did, I think I'm getting better but it's still a bit of a hit and miss for me, I feel I've made some gems and then I've made some I'm ashamed to admit exist. 😛
I'd class this one right now as a gem though.
