Avengers/Invaders

Anyone else checked out this series ?

just got Part 1 today have'nt read it yet

for that don't know the deal

it is a series that will return the young WW2 Captain America (Steve Rogers) to modern continuity, along with the other four original Invaders created in the 1940's: Human Torch, Toro, Bucky, and Namor. They will appear in the mainstream Marvel Universe of the present, returning at the height of their powers and popularity, as they were in 1942, to encounter both the New Avengers and Mighty Avengers, plus certain characters who have been in the Avengers in the past

I have the first two parts, i am enjoying it...mostly for Cap, but it has had its moments....but nothing spectacular

Is Alex Ross doing the interior art, or he is just plotting & doing the covers?

I'm more interested in how they're going to end it.

If it has "Avengers" in the title I'll most likely be reading it.

It looks like Namor has grown his ankle wings back since his encounter with Venom, I suppose he must have some sort of regen ability since he gets instantly refreshed when he touches water.

It must be pretty fast too.

He healed up Wolverine's chest stab in like two seconds.

Since Captain america is back with this invaders group because of time travel i wonder if they will end up putting him back into Marvel continuty.

If he doesn't go back in time then continuity would be completely messed up.

I was just reading the issue where Prince Namor battles King Namor.. I was like WTF ?

New issue is out:

Spoiler:
-Revealed adult Namor pretended to be knocked out in order to teach his younger self a lesson
-Heh! Iron Fist easily dodges a Sentry attack
-Ares nearly seriously hurts Iron Fist till teenage Namor saves him
-Bucky adult and teen come face to face

If I hadn't already read it I may have made some cooment about using spoiler tags .... thankfully I have read it, so I wont even mention the lack of spoiler tags in Mungi's post.
