Yet get killed by mortal means.
God is a meaningless title, it has no bearing on anything.
Fact is, despite being Godlike Maiar, a Balrog was killed by a lightning bolt and a stab, Gandalf from exhaustion I assume, Saruman from a dagger, hell, Sauron was defeated by having his friggin finger cut off.
They can be defeated in very mortal ways, they do not "die," but they lose physical form unless recreated by a higher being, like a Valar or Eru Illuvitar.

How is getting killed by a lightning bolt charged sword through the throat by an enchanted elven sword mean the balrog is weak 😐
Gandalf fell thousands of feet into a large pool of water, whilst riding a flaming Balrog, then proceeded to chase the Balrog through the caverns, climbed Durin's tower, then fought with the Balrog in the middle of a snowstorm, on the top of a mountain
😐
Because Saruman was snuck up on. 😐 Both Voldemort and Dumbledore would get killed if someone stabbed them through the throat, so I don't see your point.
Sauron was PIS.

2. He broke his fall with the Balrog, he chased it up a tower, then they killed eachother. Voldemort would need one spell to kill either.
3. I don't give a shit. My point was they are mortal in resilience. Not to mention their displayed powers in the books are also shitty.
4. No it wasn't. Sauron is an idiot who for some reason thought it would be a good idea to transfer all his power and essence into a single ring on his finger, and he would lose his physical body if he lost it. In other words, he's an idiot.
