i agree. i meant that i hope it plays out in like real time not turn based.

I think it pretty much has to be realtime, since it is an MMO.

I believe realtime implies that you can willingly dodge hits

I'm expecting this to play like kotor without the pause in between decisions

My bets on real-time.

Hey. Does Anyone know how to defeat Darth Bandon?

This is not the KOTOR thread. Do not spam in unrelated threads.

Be a halfway decent player. 😐

Alternatively, buff yourself up before hand with the force and stims, use thermal detonators on him, train for a bit, hit him with multiple crippling attacks (Stun, Insanity, Choke, Plague, poison grenades) Jolee is good for force pwnage, equip your current party with all the best gear and just do anything else that works .

Sorry Peach. 🙁

Considering there was nothing in-depth nor engrossing about KOTOR, probably pretty easily.

Ah thats a fail statement. The story of KOTOR was incredibly engrossing, probably why it's considered one of the highest praised games of all time awesrug

I really can't agree; the plot was about as cookie-cutter and cliched as they come.

Aside from the one big twist, the story was meandering and predictable.

And KotOR is largely overrated when it's simply not that great a game.

The great games are always called thus stoned

...no, the great games are called, well... great.

Well, with a mediocre plot and game mechanics that go from half-assed to completely broken? Yes, it's overrated, by a huge margin.

You're right. No one anywhere thinks that KOTOR is a great game. You win the thread.

No one's arguing about subjective views. The point is that, objectively, KotOR isn't the Jesus game people make it out to be.

Ah, nothing like arguing opinions. Everybody is wrong and nobodies right.

Oh alright then. I don't know who calls it a game comparitive to the awesomeness of Jesus, I don't see how any game can be compared as thus.

'Cept maybe smash brothers. Snoogans.

I just find it odd that someone can find the story meandering and boring and predictable. Which is fine though, I mean that's just your opinion. Although finding a game predictable where YOU create the outcome is a bit strange.

And I couldn't predict those events that go on throughout the story.

There's a difference between people enjoying it and personally finding it to be a great game, and it actually being objectively great from a technical standpoint.

A rather large difference.

Also, it has nothing to do with TOR and is completely off-topic.

Anyway, the games first US demo is going to be at PAX, if anyone goes, let me know.

I'd like to get my hands on that. Though I wonder...anyone else worried that the game world will just be filled with thousands of Jedi's and sith's over bounty hunters and smugglers and stuff?

Maybe, but anyone who would play a game and decide whether or not it was a great game they are glad they played because of it's technical things, instead of how much fun and enjoyment they actually got out of it, is a disillusioned person.
