I'm a Marvel fan...and I'm happy that TDK has taken over.

It steps up the game for both companies, hopefully now we'll be seeing higher caliber comic book adaptations.

Very true, and it also puts the ball in Marvel's court. If they pull something like another Fantastic Four:Rise of the Silver Surfer or Xmen III people will just step away. I can only see fanboys buying tickets. However, they pull another Iron Man. Then the future of comic book movies will be promising.

IA WD. I just wish as a DC fan we could crank out a decent Superman movie that is at least close to on par with this epic. Though I am happy to see Batman back on top of the comic book movie genre game.

I'm seeing $160 million by tomorrow for the three days and close to $180 million total. By next sunday The Dark Knight could be at or close to $250 million.
