The only reason she even wants Depp to be Batman is because she thinks he's good looking. I'm not gay or anything, and I'll admit the guy's not ugly but c'mon, he ain't Batman. Keaton, Kilmer, and Bale can be Batman...but not Depp. He can stick to playing a pirate or psycho as in "Secret Window" but he's not Batman. I cannot stress that enough. It's not a matter of opinion, it's fact that Depp does not look like Batman, would never be cast as Batman, and wouldn't be taken serious as Batman.
Yes, he doesn't LOOK like Batman, but the same thing could be said about Keaton, and Keaton is the second best live action Batman we've ever had... You could believe that Depp would need to wear a Batman costume for people to take him seriously... That's what Burton was going for in B89, and that's why he'd only work in a B89 prequel...

Like I said, Depp would work in a Burton Batman environment, but I agree with you that anywhere BESIDES a Burton Batman environment, he has no business starring as Bruce Wayne/Batman...
