He got released. Supposedly his mom and sister showed up at the hotel begging for money according to security. He tried to make them leave, the mom started hitting him and then they went to the station to report being assaulted by him. I don't know what's true all of it sounds weird to me but he's released.

Wow, I'm quite surprise. Bale has always been that quiet Celeb that rarely gets into trouble. He's not like Paris Hilton or Lindsay Lohan..he's always been pretty private. I hope things get better.

I don't think Bale assaulted them. His mom & sister are just douches.

He flat-out denies it:

The actor's reps released the following statement to TMZ: "Christian Bale attended a London police station today, on a voluntary basis, in order to assist with an allegation that had been made against him to the police by his mother and sister. Mr. Bale, who denies the allegation, co-operated throughout, gave his account in full of the events in question and has left the station without any charge being made against him by the police. Mom and sis just want his millions. He has a wife (and kid?) and takes care of them. I bet they got all pushy first, and he "escorted" them out. So then they ran to the police station to try to sully his good name on the day after the reports come out about his biggest box-office hit yet.

Unfortunately this article is so funny its not even true. Bale just talked to the cops and was let go. NO CHARGES WERE FILED.

I love Bale, but his mom & sis are a total *****. I can tell she wasn't a good parent by the simple fact that she's screaming at him for money. God I hate people like that. They want to mooch (sp?) off of their kids.

My Uncle says they're saying it was more verbal than physical. Hopefully it wasn't anything at all.
