When I fisrt saw the tumbler, I hated it, but once I saw Begins I understand where it comes from and why it was used... kinda like an H2 ... and I ended up loving it

It was the best vehicle he's had so far. And more importantly, it was the best vehicle he's had with a legitimate purpose behind it. A 25 foot revision of the typical batmobile would be far too hard to explain.
A lot of people flipped over that scene of the batpod crawling up the wall in TDK, but it was one of my least favorite scenes.
I like the Batpod crawling up the wall scene on one hand because it was bad ass, but on the other hand it seemed like it was there for no other reason but to be bad ass and I think it was one of the few kind of cheap action movie-ish type moments that the movie had so it was kind of cheesy on the other hand.

My feelings exactly.
I can see why people didn't like that moment, lol. Definitely. It didn't bug me that much but it did take me out of the movie because it was the only thing that didn't really feel very serious and I didn't think it fit the tone of the film it was really there just for the purpose of being kick ass...
