Entropy

The Enless.
Destiny could pretty much solo.

I was going to make this thread but I figured it would be a draw.

Wouldn't Expediancy = Destiny? Expediancy changed Rick Jones' destiny.

good story

In terms of battle feats, Eternity and Entropy are far beyond anyone else in this battle.

How many fights has Eternity won, since you're so sure?

Some beings are so powerful that they simply are beyond feats.

Those same people should be beyond forum fights.

Depends. A concept has a certain amount of power and influence. It can be pitted against another concept. For instance, one would wonder if Galactus could beat Dream. Tho Dream does have feats.

But that's ridiculous, isn't it? Debating which CONCEPT is inherently more powerful? That depends on your view of the world, nay, the universe.

In general I think that the Endless should be left out of debates, and thats true of most Vertigo characters to boot. The stories are written differently, the rules are very different. Yes, Dream has feats of great power. But he's also been trapped by a human being for decades (with magic). Could you see Galactus being trapped in some novice mage's basement?

It's not worth debating. Just enjoy those stories for what they are; quality literature. It doesn't much translate here.

Dream is omniversal. Could it be said that a form of him was captured? Surely if he'd been captured, then all dreams would have ceased over in DC as well?

Well dreams across the DCU were affected by his capture, actually.

But Dream, or rather Morpheus, was the embodiment of Dreams. He was it, until he died and it passed to Daniel. He is in fact a multiversal character - you could argue that he actually CONTROLS a multiverse, given that is what the dream world is. And his place is the birthplace of Gods, so thats another feather in his cap.

But Morpheus - Dream - is the character we are discussing when you say "Dream of the Endless" , and that character was captured by a dude who wanted to be immortal (he was trying to capture Death) and was held for something like 70 years.

Not something you could see happening to Galactus. But nor could I see Galactus creating universes and the like, which is somethign I could see Dream doing.

well if destiny is the most powerful and if they where to be put in the same universe and if entropy is destined to destroy the universe wouldn't that put him in the book of destiny?

but they also say none would live in the end of the universe
so then that wouldn't that put the Friendless FTW?

I agree.

Friendless. None of the Endless survive past the end of the universe, so Entropy should be able to kill them all.
